Our Vision
R[4] Retreat Center exists to create a world where families of children with special needs are no longer isolated or overlooked—but fully seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that walks with them for life. Through spaces of rest, encouragement, purpose, and healing, R4 is building more than retreats—it’s creating a place where caregivers can breathe, families can belong, and every individual is empowered to thrive from childhood into adulthood.

Our Calling
God has uniquely called us to serve families impacted by special needs. We believe every person is created in the image of God and deeply valued—regardless of physical or mental ability.
As His hands and feet, we are committed to showing Christ’s love to all people without discrimination. Through intentional spaces of rest, restoration, renewal, and healing (Rapha), we encourage, inspire, and empower the entire family.
We serve with compassion, respect, kindness, and grace—meeting families right where they are.
At the core of everything we do is a Christ-centered foundation, rooted in the truth and hope of the Bible.
statement of faith
At R[4] Retreat Center, our faith is the foundation of everything we do.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, guiding our faith and how we live.
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—Creator of all things, who lovingly invites us into relationship with Him.
We believe every person is created in the image of God with inherent value and purpose. Though sin has broken that relationship, God has made a way for restoration.
We believe in Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who came to serve, to heal, and to save. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and brought back into right relationship with God.
We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. In Him, we find new life, true identity, and lasting hope.
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer—guiding, strengthening, and empowering us to live lives that reflect God’s love and truth.
We believe that through Christ, we are invited into a life of rest, restoration, renewal, and healing (Rapha)—not only for ourselves, but so we can extend that same love and care to others.
We believe God calls us to walk closely with Him, to be transformed daily, and to live with purpose—overcoming brokenness through His power and becoming a reflection of His hope in the world.
